The Burghers of Calais 2014

In this series, all color was removed.  In it's place, space, form, and function filled the void.  I constructed my own Burgher's of Calais out of black clay in the form of a tank, a bear, and a tiger. To join along for the ride came "the Death Star", the invincible donut tire with sprinkles.  Also hanging on the wall was "the Void Strangely Misunderstood".  In the background the cool sounds of Jackie Gleason and Dean Martin were playing on old records.
